Opportunity: Menagerie Young Writers’ Workshop 2027

September 15th 2026: Our renowned and highly regarded Young Writers’ Workshop returns in January 2027. 6 early career playwrights will be mentored and supported over 6 months as they write a new play, each of which receives a public rehearsed reading. Martha Loader, writer of our 2026 production ‘Albatross’ won the 2025 George Devine Award

Emma Jo Pallet, Young Writers’ Workshop 2024, won the UK Theatre Award for Best New Play in 2025, for ‘Flumps’, produced by Colchester Mercury.

Daisy Miles, Young Writers’ Workshop 2024, won the Bruntwood North West Original New Voice Award 2025
